Building this community has been an act of love and will, and requires a tremendous amount of engagement – whether through welcoming visitors at the door, helping in the office, hosting an event in your home, offering Rabbi Brous Purim costume ideas or reading Torah.
We can’t do it without you.
Oh, and by the way… Have You Met Isaiah?
The Isaiah Initiative* is IKAR’s way of honoring the great value of non-monetary contributions in building our community and a better world. For every hour that members of our community spend making the world a bit sweeter, safer, cleaner or more fair and just, IKAR gets to redeem $18 from our Isaiah Fund and put it into our general operating budget. So if you’re doing good — Shabbat Schmoozing, tutoring, volunteering for another organization — let us know about it by recording your hours here.
*THE ISAIAH FUND IS MADE POSSIBLE THANKS TO A GENEROUS GRANT FROM THE DIANE AND GUILFORD GLAZER FOUNDATION.
